On May 11, from 8-11 p.m., Red Mountain students will be taken to the roaring Golden Age for Prom taking place at Stonebridge Manor located at 4000 E. Palm St., Mesa, AZ 85215. Summarized as an age of cultural revolution, “The Golden Age” is deemed a glamorous, jazz-syncopated era of wealth, remembered by flapper dresses, swing music, nightclubs and an upsurge in mass entertainment. This will be a mesmerizing night for juniors and seniors, and possibly some underclassmen. Entertainment will be provided by Endless Entertainment and tickets are available to purchase in the bookstore for $50 per person.

“We chose Stonebridge Manor as the venue because it was a romantic and enlightening place,” said Maza.

Stonebridge Manor was chosen to be the venue this year because it is very romantic and has an old world feel to it. The four-acre property features a gorgeous estate brimming with old-world charm, as well as immaculate gardens filled with flowers, trees, and flourishing greenery. With a breathtaking banquet hall, a candlelit courtyard, wrought iron arbor with gorgeous lush gardens, the beautiful estate and outdoor oasis will make Prom an unforgettable event. It is the perfect venue to portray the theme.

“The Prom theme is very elegant. We picked it because it was simple but also something different,” said Junior Class Vice President Taylor Maza.

“The Golden Age” on May 11 will be a night of pure romance and elegance. This night will leave student in a ‘20s state of mind.
