Arizona Preps Radio Show set to debut tomorrow

September 16, 2011 by Kevin Ray, AZPreps365

Tomorrow marks another landmark moment for prep coverage in the state when Arizona Preps hits the airwaves at 9a on Sports 620 KTAR.  In their ongoing effort to promote their member schools and all of the incredible academic & athletic talent that the state of Arizona boasts, the Arizona Interscholastic Association will partner with one of the Valley’s sports leaders in Sports 620 KTAR & ArizonaSports.com to deliver a 2 hour program focused solely on the AIA and all of those who are a part of it.

This 2 hour weekly show will deliver everything a fan of high school coverage would want and more. While a good portion of the show will be driven by all of the sports, competitions and events that student athletes participate in, it will also cover the topics that are affecting students, administrators, parents & fans.  It won’t be a scoreboard show that highlights only the big schools or big sports.

The AIA has long been seeking additional outlets to promote what is happening with all of their member schools and teaming up with a valley radio icon like Sports 620 KTAR only makes sense because of the reach that the station has.  Along with the radio show the stations own website, Arizonasports.com will also be carrying the live streams of the games & events as well as delivering prep stories for their audience.

With hosts Craig Grialou & Jim Grieshaber along with anchor Kandace Hurdle & Producer and talent Pablo Rios the show is in very capable hands.  All of these individuals have worked closely with the high school sports coverage in recent years and are sure to deliver a great show every Saturday.  I’ll have more insight about the show in the coming weeks but I hope you plan to tune in  tomorrow morning at 9a for Arizona Preps on Sports 620 KTAR.
