It's been ten years since Patagonia qualified for the state playoffs. That's a decade of frustration that will certainly end next week but The Gregory School made sure the Lobos would have to wait a bit longer to celebrate after beating Patagonia 3-2 (23-25, 26-24, 12-25, 25-22, 18-16) Monday night.

The first official AIA/MaxPreps Rankings for girl's volleyball came out Tuesday morning with few if any surprises. Teams in each of the five divisions will be fighting for a playoff spot with the automatic bids handed out to each of the section champions.

Judy Tatum was a coach at Pima High School.

She had served the school in a number of capacities for more than 20 years.

Jim Beall, H.T. Clothier, Dan Mannix, Valorie McKenzie, and Paul Williams are this year's hall of fame inductees.

The Arizona High School Coaches Association will induct five coaches into its Hall of Fame on May 5.
