Salpointe Catholic and Arcadia shared a team title apiece Saturday with Salpointe's boys and Arcadia's girls winning the Division II swim-dive championships at Skyline Aquatic Center.

Standout of the day individually was Salpointe's Tyler Mattingly, who won the 200 free and 500 free and led off the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay team triumphs. Salpointe's boys finished with 400 points and Arcadia followed with 314. Queen Creek was third, Casa Grande fourth and Notre Dame fifth.

Douglas' Brandon Young was the only other swimmer in the boys competition to win two events. He won the 100 breast and 200 IM. Other boys winners were Notre Dame's Jack Poupore (50 free), Arcadia's Nathan Anderson (100 fly), Salpointe's Jojo Simonson (100 free) and Cortez's Max Montour (100 back).

Arcadia's Hayden Sells repeated as the D-II dive champ totaling 424.60 points for a comfortable win over second-place Sheldon Solomon of Queen Creek (373.70).

The girls team chase was tighter, but Arcadia prevailed with 289 points. Salpointe (262) edged Verrado (261) for second.  Notre Dame was fourth and Phoenix Country Day fifth.

Arcadia nabbed one individual title from Carley Stevens (500 free). The Titans won the 200 medley relay and used its depth to earn enough points for the victory.

Two-event girls winners fwere  Phoenix Country Day's Danielle Lee (200 free and 100 back) and Valley Christian's Briana Jurries (100 fly and 100 breast). Rounding out the winners were Phoenix Country Day's Jaimie Bryan (200 IM), Verrado's Amy Bilquist (50 free) and Tanque Verde's Carly Wilson (100 free).
