Football: Signal-caller Ramon Sanchez, running back Tanner Crosby lead St. Johns to win

Senior quarterback Ramon Sanchez and senior running back Tanner Crosby were tough as nails, as the duo helped St. Johns blank Globe, 50-0, in a prep football game this past weekend.
St. Johns head coach Mike Morgan won his 330th career victory. The late Paul Moro completed his coaching career with 336 career wins.
Sanchez threw three touchdown passes and Crosby scampered for three six-point scores.
Sanchez threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter. Sanchez connected with Crosby for 59 yards to begin the St. Johns scoring. Sanchez threw a spiral pass, hitting Dion Perry between the numbers for a 49 yard scoring strike.
St. Johns junior Ira Tullous bolted 6 yards into the end zone untouched for a touchdown in the first stanza.
St. Johns placekicker junior Gage Tricky completed two of three PAT's in the first quarter. St. Johns held a 20-0 lead.
St. Johns' Crosby tallied two of his three touchdowns in the second quarter. Crosby sprinted into the end zone for a 5 yard touchdown. Crosby added a 2 yard touchdown run.
Tricky scored on a 3 yard run. Tricky tacked on three PAT's with a kick. St. Johns held a 41-0 lead at halftime.
St. Johns signal-caller Sanchez completed a 36 yard scoring strike to Graham Nielson in the fourth quarter.
St. Johns placekicker Tricky booted a 33 yard field goal to complete the scoring for the game during the final quarter.
St. Johns, 3-1, travel to Pinon, 1-2, to face the Eagles this Friday at 7 p.m.
