The Arizona Interscholastic Association is excited to announce that Dave & Buster’s Tempe Marketplace will be the new home for the association’s football bracket release show, football championship media day and will be the headquarters for its Arizona EPREPS State Championships.

“This is a great opportunity to get on board with a partner in Dave & Buster’s that has really stepped up to the plate to support high school activities in Arizona,” said AIA Executive Director David Hines. “Having multiple events in one location enables us to share consistent communication with the member schools for where to go for a big-time event. We look forward to working with Dave & Buster’s and all the great possibilities that lie ahead for our schools.”

Dave & Buster’s Tempe Marketplace will serve as host to one of the AIA’s most important events, the football bracket release and AZPreps365 radio show on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8-11 a.m. Coaches, players and fans are welcomed to attend the announcement, which will include the 2A-6A conference selections, as well as the new Open Division bracket.

Before the season ends, fans and teams are invited to the Sports Zone within Dave & Buster’s Tempe Marketplace to catch the Friday Night Drive from 6-7 p.m. and Friday Night Wrap-Up show from 9:30-11:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 and Oct. 25. There will also be a live watch party for the AZPreps365 Football Game of the Week in the Sports Zone.

Following the game of the week, teams that have finished playing on those evenings are encouraged to stop by and watch the Friday Night Wrap-Up Show. Team representatives may be interviewed by hosts Mike Grose and Jason Skoda.

The inaugural esports championships will also have a home at Dave & Buster’s Tempe Marketplace with championships being conducted in the AIA’s two games offered – League of Legends and Rocket League – in January and May. Details on dates and times to be announced as the season progresses.

Additional events, such as the AIA Football Championship Media Day, will be held at Dave & Buster’s Tempe Marketplace. The football media day, which includes coaches and players from each team participating in a championship game, will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon.
