FRIDAY, OCT. 18

6A CONFERENCE

No. 26 O’Connor (1-6) at No. 25 Tucson (3-4)

The Badgers need this win with Chandler coming in next week.

5A CONFERENCE

No. 8 Cienega (5-2) at No. 36 Marana (0-7)

The Bobcats are hoping to stay high in the rankings to host a playoff game. Cienega is 5-0 against Marana in the last three years, including two playoff wins.

No. 28 Sunnyside (2-5) at No. 11 Ironwood Ridge (4-3)

The Blue Devils need this win to stay close but the Nighthawks are getting hot.

No. 14 Buena (5-2) at No. 27 Nogales (4-3)

The Colts need to rebound with a win here but low power point opportunity.

No. 35 Flowing Wells (1-6) at No. 20 Desert View (4-3)

The Jaguars are still in the playoff hunt thanks to the Open Division making room at the top.

No. 26 Mountain View (3-4) at No. 30 Rincon/UHS (4-3)

Could be one of the best games in the city with Mountain View trying to move up and Rincon trying to get five wins for the first time since 2012.

No. 40 Empire (1-6) at No. 34 Cholla (1-6)

4A CONFERENCE

No. 3 Canyon del Oro (7-0) at No. 1 Salpointe (6-0)

Another big game for both teams. Can the Dorado defense stop the Lancers?

No. 8 Walden Grove (6-1) at No. 13 Pueblo (6-1)

The Red Wolves have never been 6-1 much less 7-1. This is the third best start in Warrior history.

No. 21 Catalina Foothills (3-4) at No. 17 Casa Grande (4-3)

The Falcons need this to inch closer to a playoff spot but so do the Cougars.

No. 27 Amphitheater (4-3) at No. 39 Douglas (2-5)

The Panthers can’t afford any more losses.

No. 37 Rio Rico (2-5) at No. 34 Palo Verde (3-4)

The Titans are building for the future.

3A CONFERENCE

No. 9 Sabino (5-2) at No. 18 Pusch Ridge (4-3)

Control of the 3A South is at stake with the Sabercats trying to get back in the top eight and the Lions trying to get in the top 16. AJ Skaggs is 28 yards away from 3,000 career passing yards for Sabino and Evan Lovett is 140 yards away from 2,000 career rushing yards for Pusch Ridge.

No. 38 Catalina (0-7) at No. 24 Sahuarita (3-4)

No. 11 Safford (5-2) at No. 37 Tanque Verde (0-7)

No. 23 Scottsdale Christian (2-5) at No. 4 Santa Cruz (6-2)

The Dust Devils are in a great position.

No. 8 Bisbee (6-1) at No. 9 Benson (5-2)

Benson is 21-8-2 over Bisbee but the two teams have split over the last two years. One of the top games in Southern Arizona.

No. 24 Santa Rita (3-4) at No. 34 Tombstone (1-6)

The Eagles are looking for four wins for the first time since the state runner-up team of 2009.
