Big weekend of "Live" coverage on AIA365

November 3, 2011 by Kevin Ray, AZPreps365

It’s just the kind of weekend the AIA had in mind when they launched AIA365.com a few years back.  Take 2 days and have multiple sporting events that are covered and broadcast from start to finish for fans to watch live or enjoy viewing it ON DEMAND once the event is over.

On Friday and Saturday high school sports fans will have a chance to see “live” football playoffs, swim & dive championships, volleyball semi-finals and championships and soccer championships as well as get “live” updates from the cross country championships.  The AIA keeps setting the bar higher and higher and the real winners in all of this are the fans, student athletes’ parents and family members.

Even if you had a TV partner wanted to televise these they couldn’t do it all at the same time as will happen on Saturday because so many of the events will overlap and that’s exactly what makes AIA365.com such an amazing and valuable tool for the member schools and all of those parties I just listed.  Think about it, if you had to decide one sport to cover for TV who gets the spotlight?  This way all the sports get the spotlight they deserve and it’s a chance for mom & dad to tell their family members who live in some other state or country for that matter that they can log on watch their nephew or niece or grandson or granddaughter.

In the past we’ve even had parents who are stationed overseas due to military commitments have an opportunity to watch their kids take part in an event and there’s no greater feeling than knowing that you’ve helped connect a family from thousands of miles away by broadcasting their event.

Combine the efforts this weekend with the schools that are now coming on board and beginning to create their own content thru stories and student produced events and AIA365.com is quickly becoming “live” high school sports & events central.  With Chess and Speech and Debate part of the coverage plans there truly will be something for everyone.

So here’s what’s on tap this weekend for you on AIA365.com
