Brandon Barrios committed to Olivet Nazarene University located in Bourbonnais, Illinois, Cameron Drescher and his cousin Ryan Drescher committed to Simpson College, located in Indianola, Iowa and Octavio Audry-Cobos committed to Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa.

Barrios rushed for 1,491 yards with 16 touchdowns, Cameron Drescher had 917 All-Purpose Yards along with 89 tackles and four interceptions, Octavio Audry-Cobos put together 77 tackles with 3.5 sacks and Ryan Dresher had 211 yards receiving with a couple of touchdowns.

“Committing to Simpson was a great opportunity to continue my academic career and still be able to play football,” Ryan Drescher said. “It took a lot to get to a decision and I’m excited with my future ahead. Can’t wait to get started. It’s going to be new for sure but if you don’t welcome new things into your life how do you grow as a person. Just excited to be able to play football and be able to go with my cousin as well.

As seniors, the four are obviously without a school right now due to the pandemic.

“Things without school are tough,” Ryan Drescher added. “Not being able to see my friends and go hang out with them is probably the hardest part. But the good thing is everyone I’ve talked to is staying safe and hopefully we can all get together before we all go our separate ways.”

Barrios was an ED Doherty Award nominee.
