Talia is a sophomore on the Gilbert Christian Spiritline, and she loves it. Her favorite part about cheer is going to competitions, but unfortunately they are cancelled this season due to COVID-19. Talia loves her coaches and thinks they have a positive impact on her life and help her to get better with cheer everyday. “My coaches have a positive attitude and help the team to stay organized,” Talia said. Talia likes her team and thinks everyone gets along well with each other.

Talia is hoping next year she will be cheer captain and hoping we will be able to have competitions for next year’s cheer season. Talia’s favorite part of cheer competition is getting ready with her friends. Talia’s favorite part of practice is when we learn new dances for football games because she thinks it engages everyone and includes everyone. “One thing our team could improve on is being more respectful to our coaches and teammates during practice so we have time to get things done,” Talia said.
