Abby Feely is in ninth grade and is a student at Gilbert Christian High school. She is also proud to say she is a member of the golf team. Abby’s favorite part about golf is that coach, Jay Feely, who happens to be her dad, is very helpful and patient when coaching. She enjoys putting, chipping, and using her driver when out on the course. If she could change one thing about the golf team it would be to have more people on it so she could make more friends. 

Golf has strengthened Abby by helping her to not give up even after many failures. Golf is a sport that takes lots of practice and dedication. “Patience is key,” according to Abby, she says this is one of the most important factors about golf. Having her dad as a coach may seem annoying to most people but for her, she feels much more comfortable asking questions and listening to him speak. Abby enjoys putting in the work to see herself get better at every practice. According to Abby, golf is a sport she recommends at Gilbert Christian, if you want to make new friends and stay involved in the school.
