With the U.S. Olympic swimming trials reaching a fevered pitch in Omaha this week, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list of high school All-Americans.

The lists compile the Top 100 performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Arizona ranked 23rd overall nationally in the number of athletes, while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.

Led by Payton Sorenson of Mountain View (Mesa) and Maggie McCord of Canyon del Oro (Tucson), Arizona had 25 boys All-Americans and 12 girls honorees, respectively.
