Sarah Sponcil, to led Phoenix Veritas Prep to a state runner-up finish in its first season in Division IV, was named to the second team of the American Volleyball Coaches Association Under Armour Girls All-America Team.

Sponcil, a 5-foot-11 outside hitter, is a two-time Small School Player of the Year by The Arizona Republic/azcentral.com. She will play collegiately at Loyola-Marymount.

Also, Jasmine Hanna, a 6-1 outside hitter from Queen Creek High, was named Honorable Mention. She will play for Colorado State.
