For the third time in three weeks, the Southwest has a new No. 1 as DeSoto (Texas) returns to the top spot after a one-week hiatus.

DeSoto replaced Allen at No. 1 two weeks ago, but Allen moved back to the top spot last week. This week, DeSoto returns to the top spot with Allen dropping to No. 2. Carroll (Southlake, Texas) also made a move this week, leapfrogging past Skyline into the No. 3 spot.

Union (Tulsa, Okla.) is also on the move as it came in at No. 5 this week after finishing at No. 9 last week. Union's only loss this year is to Carroll in overtime.

Only one new team in the top 10 this week as Martin (Arlington, Texas) moved from No. 13 to No. 9.
