After two weeks at No. 2, Allen (Texas) moved back to No. 1 in the MaxPreps Southwest Region Football Computer Rankings this week following a 58-23 win over Plano East.
Trinity (Euless, Texas) had been No. 1 for the past two weeks, but it was idle last week. Allen had been No. 1 most of the season before dropping to No. 2 several weeks ago.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Southwest region includes teams from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.
