Game to watch: The season opener, at home against Serra (Gardena, Calif.), Aug. 19
Briefly: Saguaro has won eight state titles in the last 10 years. … The team's top recruit from last season, guard Kayden Lyles (160, Wisconsin) plans to leave Saguaro, according to Mohns, and enroll at Middleton (Madison, Wis.). … Saguaro returns 13 starters and its JV team went 8-0 last season. … Eight players have received D-1 offers.
