Cienega is on a 15-1 win streak with the loss coming against Centennial in the 5A semifinal round last year.

Tucson broke an 0-23 streak against Salpointe dating back to 1993 with a 14-3 win over the Lancers last year.

Buena is on an 0-22 streak dating back to 2014.

Desert View went 8-3 last year to record the program’s first outright winning season since 1998.

Ironwood Ridge has never had an official losing season. 14 years in a row with at least six wins.

Marana went to the playoffs last year for the first time since 2007 and then posted first playoff win since 1983.

Sabino has a 21-5 advantage over Sahuaro since 1991 and has only lost twice since 1999 yet it is considered a “rivalry game” due to tradition.

Amphitheater broke an 0-12 streak last year while going to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.

Catalina Foothills went from 0-10 in 2012 to 35-13 since with a 4A runner-up finish last year.

Douglas is 80-56-8 against Bisbee since 1906 and the Bulldogs broke an 0-3 streak against the Pumas last year. (They played each other multiple times in the early years.)

Palo Verde broke an 0-8 streak by beating Tanque Verde last Friday.
