Several more Arizona high school.college players were selected later Tuesday in the fourth- through 30th- rounds of the 2011 Major League Baseball first-year player draft.

Matt Summers a right-handed pitcher at University of California  Irvine and graduate of Chaparral High, was chosen by Minnesota in the fourth round (pick 148). Former Brophy Prep standout Riccio Torrez, currently playing at ASU, was taken in the fourth round by Tampa Bay (pick 150).

Taylor Scott, a right-handed pitcher who graduated earlier this spring from Notre Dame Prep, was taken in the fifth round by the Chicago Cubs (pick 159). Chris Jensen, a right-handed pitcher at the University of San Diego and 2008 graduate of Mesquite High School, was selected by Colorado in the sixth round (pick 198).

Gilbert High left-hander Stephen Tarpley, who has committed to play at USC, was taken in the eighth round by Cleveland (pick 248). Rick Anton, a senior left-handed pitcher at the University of Utah and former standout at Prescott High, was chosen in the eighth round by the Los Angeles Dodgers (pick 254).
