Get your school on AIA365

August 22, 2011 by Kevin Ray, AZPreps365

So what does it mean when it says your school can be on AIA365?  When AIA365.com was developed it was done so with the idea of giving every member school their own page on AIA365 for the purposes of putting their own content on their page anytime they want.

While AIA365 does produce many events throughout the year (120 in 2010) we also want to give schools the opportunity to stream and produce games/events on their own. Many of today’s schools have some kind of audio/visual department that is part of the school’s curriculum.  Often times in these classes’ students will do actual newscasts that include news, weather & sports.  These newscasts are posted to an internal web page that can only be viewed by the students in many cases.  With AIA365.com a school could have that same newscast streamed “live” on the schools page for everyone to see which provides a tremendous teaching platform for instructors and also makes it accessible to parents, family members, friends, etc.

One of the ideas behind the creation of AIA365 was to get everyone involved.  We realize not everyone can play or wants to play sports or compete in events.   But we know there are lot of young aspiring broadcasters , journalists & videographers  in schools who are looking for ways to get experience in a field they are interested in  and by being an AIA365.com member school they’re given that chance.

A school can broadcast as much or as little as they want and they can receive assistance from our production staff at AIA365.com to help get them started.  There may be some equipment to purchase but it can be done on as little as a $700 to $1000 budget and what we’ve found in many instances is that the school already has a lot of the equipment needed already on hand.

Perhaps the most unique aspect about the way the school pages are designed is that it gives the schools the ability to go out and get sponsors for their page to help generate revenues for the school and its programs.  That’s right, there are ad spaces on the school pages which would allow the school or its booster clubs to go out and get advertisers to place ads on the page and the school or club can keep 100% of the revenues they are able to get!  In these tough economic times the AIA has given schools a new revenue generating platform that has very little startup costs if any at all.

The site is maintained by the AIA and any and all technical issues or problems that may arise are all handled by the AIA so there’s no downside for any school that wants to be a part of this fast growing site.  A school can stream every sporting event, every assembly and other school functions.  Clubs can take part by creating special programming and the students who are part of the production gain valuable experience that will help them as they prepare for college and beyond.

Athletic Directors, Mom’s, Dad’s, coaches now is the time to get on board.  This is a great chance  to take your school to the next level thru the assistance of the AIA.  There are revenues out there that you’ve never been able to tap into before now and thru this state of the art platform you and your booster clubs can begin using your schools content to an even greater benefit.

If you’d like more information on how your school can be a part of this exciting site then contact us at the AIA and we’ll be happy to show you just how easy it is.  We look forward to having your school on AIA365.com soon!
