Eight teams from Southern Arizona survived the 4A, 5A and 6A play-in tournaments held Thursday night including a clean sweep from the 4A Conference.

Sunnyside scored 299 points to capture the championship of the Flowing Wells Wrestling Invitational. It was the 29th title for the Blue Devils in the 52-year history of the tourney. Queen Creek came in second with 167.5 points and Walden Grove was third with 156.
